About us
Join our inclusive church community in the heart of Rednal
We are a welcoming and inclusive Christian Church in the heart of Rednal. We seek to grow as disciples of Christ whilst sharing our faith in ways that enable others to experience God’s love.
Our Vision Statement
We believe that each and every person has infinite value in God’s sight. Through our engagement with the community, our openness to receive and nurture the gifts of those we encounter, and our desire to serve God we will:
-
help others to know that God loves them
-
help people to flourish and grow as God’s children
-
help people to experience the life in all its fullness that Jesus promised
-
learn more about the God who made us from all who we encounter, inside and outside our building.

Links with local schools
We are committed to supporting our local schools throughout the year. We deliver curriculum-linked sessions for Rednal Hill Infants and Juniors, Colmers Primary, Colmers Secondary, and a local nursery. Our longstanding relationship with Rednal Hill Infants enabled the school to raise funds for the church’s external defibrillator, which has already been used in an emergency.
Our school relationships continue to grow as Revd Steve and Revd Chris have taken part in
assemblies and been invited in to watch pupil presentations. As part of their Christian
symbols curriculum study the children from Rednal Hill Juniors & Infants and Colmers Farm
Primary have visited the church for educational visits, as well as making Christingles with our
faithful volunteers. Revd Chris also went into Colmers Farm Secondary school to lead assemblies focusing on Remembrance of local people in times of war.

The Pantry
We offer a twice-weekly community food pantry, in partnership with St Andrew’s and St Michael’s, offering free food, signposting for support with bills and household needs, and a listening ear.
The Pantry’s current needs are for UHT milk and tinned vegetables as our stocks of these essential items are low.
For regular pantry updates, visit Facebook page or contact us directly for more information.

Accessibility
We aim to be as accessible and inclusive as possible.
We worship in different styles throughout the month, so we can welcome as many people as possible into our community.
